Felici Beati in Italian means happy blessed and it is also of Felice Beato, Italian British photographer and adventurer who documented newly opened Japan at the end of XIX century. Beato is also known for being one of the first travel photographer and for this reason, I took inspiration from his work to portrait people I met in my first trip to Japan in 2004.
